Paul Fulton

Paul R. Fulton, Ed.D., co-founder, former president of the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy, course director for IMP’s year-long Certificate Program in Mindfulness & Psychotherapy, and part time clinical faculty at Harvard Medical School. A student of Buddhist psychology for over 45 years, he received Zen jukai initiation in 1972. Dr. Fulton earned his doctorate from Harvard’s Laboratory for Human Development, writing a dissertation on the nature of the self among American Buddhists. He is co-editor and co-author of Mindfulness and Psychotherapy and contributing author to Buddhism and World Culture, Mindfulness and the Therapeutic Relationship, Wisdom and Compassion in Psychotherapy, Begegnung von westlicher Psychotherapie und buddhistischer Geistesschulung, and other volumes. www.PaulFulton.org.
